Foot changes

To use your both legs equally, switch legs every 3-10 kicks – do it before you have to!
Harder the kicks more frequent the changes.

Basic foot change
Only change method you need if you are not racing or riding very steep uphills. Learn to do basic change without looking at your toes.
Take your time - foot change doesn"t need to be quick.

You can change foot also heel first: left heel off, right heel in, left foot off, straighten right foot. 

Hop switch
is quick and best used in climbs, where speed is low.
It requires some confidence in riding.

is a variation of hop switch for higher speed on flatland.
After switch kicking foot swings forward to enable more powerful kick.
