How to kick
Take long kicks.
Stand straight and relax between the kicks. Let the Kickbike roll.
Leg swingLet the kicking leg swing forward. The higher the speed the higher the knee lift. |

Basic foot change
To use both legs equally, switch feet every 3-10 kicks. In uphills increase kick frequency and switch feet more often.
Step 1Move the left foot toes off the footboard. |

Step 2Take the right foot toes in. |

Step 3Move the left foot off from the footboard. |
|
Step 4Straighten the right foot on the footboard. |
Hop change
Hop change is quick and best used in climbs, where speed is low. It requires some confidence on riding.
Step 1The left foot is moving forward. |

Step 2Hop with your right foot. |
|
Step 3Land on the footboard with other leg. |
The flying Dutchman
This is a variation of hop change for higher speed on flatland. After the change the kicking foot swings forward to enable more powerful kick.
Step 1The left foot is moving forward. |

Step 2Start the foot change by lifting the right foot heel. |
|
Step 3The left foot replaces the right foot on the footboard and the right swings forward. |
For your safety
• Keep your both hands on handlebar. For turning signal, use your leg
• In downhills place both feet on the footboard diagonally
• While braking keep your center of gravity low.
• Always wear a helmet.
