New nation was added to scooter European Championships senior class medal list, when Christian Iversen of Denmark outsprinted favourites Kai Immonen (FIN) and Jan Vlasek (CZE) in Woudenberg, Netherlands.

German Eurocup in Steinhagen had tracks in the city center ,  high speeds and an introduction of derny (a motorcycle paced race) into scooter sport.

Track for the marathon was not all flat, as could be expected of a track close to Utrecht, Netherlands. De Nedereindse Berg bike and inline skate park has 18m height difference, which is big enough to break the group early in the race, and grow gaps between riders.

Tight program of Euro Championships had thrown both criterium races and relays for Friday
